Patrick and I had a fine bike ride together this afternoon. Clear air. Great weather. Patrick is a strong rider and a great guy. We ride together once or twice per year. J

James & Pop - Seniors' Night Football

Here is a picture of super defensive end, La Canada High School Varsity Football team and his old (!!) may. This was three weeks ago on Senior night. James had a great season and finished without lasting injury. He did crack three ribs and suffer a pneumothorax in a pre-season practice session. J

The picture below is a Quecha man warming his hands on a ventilated cooking stove build by ProPeru volunteers. Last August, Kathryn and I build eight such stoves in Quecha homes in the Peru high country.
